Yellow River Mother Sculpture [Lanzhou]

Lanzhou is the geometrical center of China. It is also called ‘the heart of China’. After lunch, we will look around the city, including the sculpture of the mother of the Yellow River; the park of white pagoda mountain; Zhongshan Bridge, the prima bridge of the Yellow River; the waterwheel park; and take in the view of Lanzhou City.

This sculpture is the best of its kind in China. The whole sculpture contains that of a mother and a baby. The mother with long hair, slim figure, lying on the undulate water looks happy and kind. On her breast hold a small kid who bear naive smile. The sculpture connotes that the Yellow River has nourished generations of Chinese.
