Nansha Archipelago in Hainan Province: Border cemented with corals

Of all the island groups in the South China Sea, the islands of the Nansha Archipelago are spread out the widest, its coral islands are the most numerous and the average size the smallest. There are over 200 of them, occupying a sea area of 820,000 square kilometers and having a combined land area of about two square kilometers. The largest of them, Taiping Island, covers only 0.43 square kilometer. Seen from the air, it is like a green jade floating on the blue sea. White coral sand encircles the island like a white jade belt.
Islets, sand beaches and reefs are nicely spread out among the Nansha. Like oases, with birds overhead and fish in the nearby waters, they are a virtual never-fading scroll painting of tropical island scenery. Coral reefs of every shape and color form most of the islands. On August 2, 1988, China, at UNESCO’S request, established an ocean observatory on the Yongshu Reef, 560 nautical miles from Hainan Island.
Most of the Yongshu Reef used to be below water, but now a stretch of man-made land provides the space for a 1,000-square-meter two-story building. No matter what happens, the reef is like an unsinkable vessel guarding China’s territorial waters.

The center district in the park is called "Cool Mountain of Hot Island" with 67.46F, an average temperature of the whole year, 73.22F in the highest month, and 59.18F in the lowest month. Typhoon and rain is centered from June to September.

Travel Tips
Water supply is from at 7 to 24 clocks on island. There is no telephone in hostel.
Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus and fishing is important amusement.
Please make better preparation especially take enough foods before going.
There is no vehicle and other traffic on island.
There is no signal for cell phone on island and only a public phone and only a post office.
Only about 100 tourists can be reception on island in one year.
There is no food to serve on depot ship.
Please take sunbonnet, sunglass, and suntan oil, swimsuit, swimming cap, swimming glass, turkish towel, slipper, etc.
Please drink little white wine and vinegar When eating seafood.
Please do not eat too much seafood and tropical fruit.
Typhoon and rain is centered from June to September.
Be careful safe when you swimming and diving.
