Seafood Exhibition Hall (Shuichan Guan) [Beihai]

Seafood Exhibition Hall is the biggest aquatic product exhibition hall in china. The floor space occupied is 1,600 squares meters. It is divided into 7 exhibition halls and aquatic box, the sea turtle pond and the seal pond. 670 life specimens of marine life from Gulf of Tonkin are displayed.

There are more than 2,800 exhibition items, in which the Dugong (commonly known as mermaid), which is rarely found in the world is the centre of attraction. There are more than 10,000 kilograms of heavy whale skeletons, several kilograms of heavy lobster specimens as well as the 'south bead' that is renowned both at home and abroad and more than 100 kilograms of hundred year old sea turtle display in the hall. There are also dozens of subtropical fish from Gulf of Tonkin Sea breed here.
