Beibuwan Square (Beibuwan Guangchang) [Beihai]

Beibuwan Square is located in the center of Beihai city. It is situated at the inter-section of Beibuwan Middle Road, Sichuan Road and Changqin Road. It was built in December 1985 and it is a comprehensive central square in Beihai.

The big scale fountain sculpture in the square is named "the southern bead soul" and was sculptured by famous sculptor, Ye Shan. The sphere exhibition hall was originally a giant reservoir. It became the exhibition hall after rebuilding. The structure of the exhibition hall is unique. Nearby is the fountain square and is use for holding literary arts meeting. Beibuwan Square’s reserved the current situation outlook and was built to represent the new modernized image of Beihai city.
