First constructed in the fourth year of the Dazhong Xiangfu Reign Period of the Song Dynasty (1011), the Xue Palace in Deqing County is a key cultural relic under state protection, and the only wooden architecture of the Song Dynasty that Guangdong Province has preserved until now. The Dacheng Hall is the main building in the palace, with four pillars not reaching the ceiling. It represents the unique architectural art in China.
