South Suburb Park has the fine reputation of “the green pearl”. There are almost 65 of 248 types of trees amounting to more than 16,700 pieces (clump). The most characteristic plant is the living fossil China fir in the garden. The theme varies comprising of three major scenic areas, namely the bamboo lake, the Xiu peak and the Shuhong Chinese style pavilion.
