Shaowu Xichun Garden is located in the west of Shaowu, Nanping City, Fujian Province, covering an area of 38 hectares, which is at the foot of a hill and beside a stream. In the garden, there are many ancient architecture sites and scenic resorts, which is a tourism spot with rich historical deposits.

Among the so many scenic spots the most famous is Surging Waves Pavilion, Xichun Face to the Sun, Huiying Shrine, Yuewang Platform etc. ten scenic spots. Patio of Surging Waves Pavilion plants boxtree, green bamboo, sweet osmanthus and guava etc., which is evergreen all the year round with a fine spring day. The pavilion collects Surging Waves Volume and The Surging Waves Poetry Critique etc. works written by Yanyu. The Yuewang Platform is built for remembering the great achievement of Yuewang and his brothers in Shaowu City in early West Han dynasty. The monument in platform is Shaowu historical evolution monument.

Features:
Surging Waves Pavilion was built in Wanli period of Ming dynasty. Octagonal Tower changes its name for remembering famous literate critic and patriotic poet-Yanyu of South Song dynasty. Among the scenery of pavilion, the peak of pavilion is a good place of enjoy the night piece of Futun Stream.

Traffic Guide

Get in: Take train to Shangrao of Jiangxi Province or Shaowu of Fujian Province, and then take bus to Wuyi Mountain( Four hours).
Inner traffic: There are tour regular buses in downtown to each scenic spots, the fare is 5 RMB.
