Jiuli Lake [Putian]

Jiuli Lake is located at the top of Wanshan Mountain, 25 kilometers northeast of Xianyou County, consists of Jiuli Lake, Maixie Rock, Zhuochuan Rock. It covers an area of 29 square kilometers. It is famous for lake, cave, waterfall and rock here, especially waterfall, and it enjoys the honor of “The Wonder of China”.

The lake is green and crystal clear, it is a beautiful natural lake merged in forest, waterfall, water and stone. The upper stream of the lake is dotted with strange shaped caves. Some of them are bottomless, and are said to be the alchemy sites by immortals. There are numerous strange rocks in the forest, some of them are inscribed by famous people. Jiuji Waterfall pours down from the high cliff with shocking water sound like thunderstorm. It is very famous. The waterfall is divided into 9 Ji by its drop height. The large waterfall is over 100 meters high, and the small ones are 3-4 meters. The grandest ones are Pubu, Zhulian and Yuzhu (3 Ji).

Features：
Pubu Ji is over 100 meters high with grand air; Zhulian Ji pours come from steep cliff like a curtain, and Yuzhu Ji slide down from the top of Panlong Mountain, forming two crystal streams, like two jade pillars. The three Ji are the best attractions of Jiuji.

Go around: Take the regular bus from Putian to Xianyou County, and then change the regular bus to Jiuli Lake.
