Taizhen Cave [Quzhou]

Taizhen Cave is located in Qianligang, 40 kilometers north of Quzhou City, has more than thirty caverns with big and small sizes. It is divided into three groups.

The first cave group includes White Pagoda Cave, Golden Chicken Cave and Liangtou Cave. White Pagoda Cave is at the foot of Qianligang, is 1,800 meters deep, the misty vapor ejects in the speed of 4 meter per second from the cave in hot summer, the cold wind scares the people. Golden Chicken Cave is more than eighty meters deep and has cave flowers, curtains and stalagmite and keeps the original outlook two million years ago. It is Liangtou Cave 300 meters north from Golden Chicken Cave. It has one small creek in the cave, is 20 meters high and 100 meters long can hold ten thousand people.

The second cave group surrounds Shangfang Town, Xiaqu County, Qianligang, has not big-scale twenty caves. It has mainly Onion Cave, Qiupi Cave, Chaoyang Cave, Water Cave, Caiyun Cave and Sound Cave and so on. The Sound Cave is the most characteristic, has water and scenery and the sound is melodious if you hit the galalith with a stick.

The third cave group is Taizhen Cave, located in Dongkou Town, Shangfang District. Taizhen Cave has caves in cave and is big-scaled, covering more than 12,000 square meters, many times of area of Jianlingqi Cave. It has the first hall, the second hall and third hall, Tongtian Cave, Dragon Pool and Dragon Creek and so on. The natural sites are Yixiantian, jade spring silver waterfall and so on.

Taizhen Cave has the name of the first grotto heaven under the heave, is famous for three features: it has cave in cave, and caves are connected, altogether has thirty-six caves, the scenery is very beautiful, it is one feature; it has farm, pool, small bridges and flowing water, which is the other feature; the vapor lingers at the top of the cave in the morning and night. So it is called Taizhen Fairyland.
