Six Caves Mountain Scenic Spot in Lanxi is one of the first batches for excellent scenic spot in Zhejiang province. There are six caves in the mountain which name are “white cloud” “purple shine clouds” “well snow” “no bottom” “hehe” and “Funnel”, the mountain gain the name because of this. The “well snow” cave has the longest underground river in China. Huang immortal once practice austerities here and “Xiake Xv” has been visited in for several times. The “Qizhen” Temple owns the Dazang Text which was brought by the “Tang” Buddhist monk thousands years ago. The “Jixia” Garden is the homeland of“Miss Zhao” who is the wife of “Zhang Xueliang”. Since 1982 the scenic spot has developed to a good scale, and has become a pearl in Midwest of ZheJiang.

The Underground River, known as the Laurel of Cave Boating of the State, is characterized with beautiful mountains and rivers, wonderful caves and peaceful temples. In the caves, there scatter many wonderful spots and lifelike stones created by the nature; there is also a 2,500 meters long ground river, whose transparent water keeps running all the year round. Tourists may visit here either by boat or on foot. It is also the place of the ancestral residence of the patriotic general Zhang Xueliang and his lover Miss Zhao’s, so their love story is regarded as the most heart-stirring one and the place one of the most beautiful to the south of the Changjiang River. The scenic resorts of the six caves consist of the Gushing Snow Cave, the Jade Dew Cave, the Purple Glow Cave, the Perching Truth Temple, etc.

The Long Underground River in scenic area, there is a river in the cave and there is a cave in the river, is crossed by an underground river for thousands of meters long. The water is unceasing and incessant for thousands of years and there is no one knows where headstream is, and when boat entering to it as if it enters to a mysterious world.
