Hangzhou Flower Nursery [Hangzhou]

The Hangzhou Flower Nursery is situated west of West Lake. With an area of 60 acres, the flower nursery is Hangzhou’s biggest center for flower cultivation and scientific research. 　 Laid out in the style of a typical park south of Yangtze River, the nursery consists of 9 sections: bonsai, rose, orchid, peony, chrysanthemum, fragrant flower, outdoor herbaceous flower, water flower, and hothouse flower. It boasts more than 2000 different varieties of bonsai and flowers, including no lack of rare species. Particularly renowned both at home and abroad are bonsai and orchids, which have been awarded national gold prizes many times.
