ZhongShan Park [Tianjin]

ZhongShan Park,first built in 1905, is situated halfway to the sou-theast of zhongshan Road, Hebei District. Its gate faces the street of Delicacy and is next to Youth Club of Hebei District.

ZhongShan Part,the fist park in Tianjin, was during the period when
Yuan shikai was the governor. At first, it was named Quanye Square. At that time, it was consititued by exhibition halls, libraries art gall-eries, before long it was named Hebei Park. On Ayg 24th,1912,Sun Zhon- gshan gave a speech in this park. In order to commemorate Sun Zhongshan it got the name in 1928.

Today,people who go through the exiquisitely painted gate of the park will be overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery like the stone hills, the falls and the other views.
At the back of the park, there are monuments built to commemcrate the heroes in people's revolution. The park has a glorious history wh-ich is closely connected with the people's revolution, so it has become a patriotism education base in Tianjin.
