Lord Bao's Temple [Hefei]

The Temple of Lord Bao was built to commemorate Bao Zheng who lived during the Northern Song Dynasty. The temple is located on Xianghua Mound in Baohe Park. Bao Zheng was born in Hefei and was known to be an honest official. There is a well that is located beside the temple, called Upright Spring' where corrupt officials of the town never went to have a drink because of the spirit of Lord Bao. The mount itself is also very pleasant to see with many water chestnuts and lotus flowers growing in the surrounding water.
