Yancheng New Fourth Army Memorial [Yancheng]

Yancheng New Fourth Army Memorial is located on the north side of Jianjun road and opened in October 1986. The museum is divided into carvings, Steles, the exhibition hall and garden which is the only professional New Fourth Army Memorial Hall.

The main hall of the Memorial Museum is 330 meters long from north to south, 110 meters wide from east to west, covering an area of 50 acres. In the center of the square, standing 'Monument of the National Revolutionary Army New Fourth Army reconstruction" 11.75 meters high. In frontispiece of the monument is Li Xiannian’s inscription; on the back is inscription of Huang Kecheng’s "Yanfu Huishi". The exhibition hall is divided into eight exhibition halls, including 1000 photos about soldiers adhere to fight with its enemies during 8 years, a large number of historical relics, iron paintings, clay pictures, paintings and other artistic works. In addition, it has the New Fourth Army Museum, Art Museum and Audio-video Museum. This Museum is the largest memorial place for New Fourth Army with the most complete information and the most obvious characteristics.

Memorial exhibition hall is a modern building. Eye-catching blue and white armbands logo "N4A" mounted on the top of the main entrance of the exhibition hall, on both sides are the flag-shaped paintings, reappearancing the New Fourth Army in different periods of history scenes.
