Chuxiu Park [Huaian]

Chuxiu Park is an integration park of tour, located south to the heart of East Street with an area of about 48 hectares. From north to south there is Lei Lake, Li Lake, West Lake and South Lake with beautiful scenery. Because Huai'an belongs to Ancient Chu, it got its name as Chuxiu Park.

Originally, the site of Chuxiu Garden is a lake and in 1958 it was built into a garden. Its landform is stretch and hypsography with elegance scene. It is divided into 4 scenic areas, 10 scenic spots with zoo, China rose Garden and Children’s amusement garden. It style make visitors pleased. Not long ago, people living in Huai’an invested money to rebuilt Yushi Booth northwest to the garden. The booth has 6 corners, covered with green tile and with stele in it. It is a new scenic spot of the garden.

Its water area is spacious with hypsography land shape and elegant scenery. It has 4 scenic areas with theme parks like zoo, China Rose garden and Children’s amusement park. Its style makes visitors pleased.

Best Travel Time：
Huai’an belongs to temperate zone monsoonal climate, wet and large amount of rainfall, adequate sunshine. It has four clear reasons, rain goes with hot weathers. Its annual general temperature is about 14℃. Best seasons for traveling there are spring and autumn.
