Zhou Enlai Memorial [Huaian]

Zhou Enlai Memorial is located at Taohua Village, Chuzhou District, Huan’an City, Jiangsu Province, established in January 16, 1992. It has mottos wrote by Deng Xiaoping wrote the Museum’s name and Jiang Zemin, Lipeng, li Xiannian, Yang Shangkun.

The entire memorial is composed of two magnificent construction groups, one is memorial island, three man made lakes and grass field around the lake. The central axes line is 800 meters long; from south to north, there are scenic spots like looking stage, main memorial hall, inferior memorial hall, bronze of Zhou Enlai and other memorial architectures. In addition, Lanshan Poem Stele, Haitang Forest, Haitang Road, Cherry Road, Wulong Booth, Huai’en Booth and watching fish in the west hall. As a large-scale memorial, Zhou Enlai Memorial is firstly built to commemorate Premier Zhou Enlai, the founders of the People's Republic of China and to show Zhou Enlai’s great personality.

Features：
Main hall of the Memorial Museum is divided into three floors, the first floor is an exhibition hall divided into eight parts showing the brilliant life of Zhou Enlai through rich literature of historical materials and precious heritage pictures. Zhou Enlai’s seating image is placed on the second floor to show his great image with a scroll in his hand.

Huai’an belongs to temperate zone monsoonal climate, wet and large amount of rainfall, adequate sunshine. It has four clear reasons, rain goes with hot weathers. Its annual general temperature is about 14℃. Best seasons for traveling there are spring and autumn.
