Wujiang is located in the far south of Jiangsu Province , China, right at the golden triangle intersection of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. The city stretches 1,176 km2, with a population of 780,000 and 9 towns to its name. It has been noted as the Town of Fish and Rice and the City of Silk along Taihu Lake.
Wujiang has been crowned with the titles -- the Civilized City, National Sanitary City, National Excellent Tourist City, National Excellent City for comprehensive Municipal and Environmental management, as well as one of the China’s most advanced cities for its culture, education, science and technology, sports, and the greening of the environment.
