Longtouzhu [Wuxi]

Longtouzhu, at the southern tip of Mashan Tai Lake National Resort of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, looks like the head of a dragon sticking into Taihu Lake. With the Lingshan Buddhist temple at their backs, tourists there have a view of low, rolling mountains and waving water which is shallow and misty. Local specialities such as waxberry, silver fish and Caotang tea are musts for visitors. Taihu Boat dish was created by Helu, king of Wu Kingdom when he had his summer palace here.
