Located on the third peak of Zijinshan Hill, 267 meters of elevation, it is the first modern astronomical observatory that set up by ourselves. More than 100 of formal serial numbered minor planets have been discovered since its establishment. It is still keeping astronomical bronze instruments: armillary sphere, abridged armillary, sundial, celestial sphere (celestial globe), etc.
