Zhonghuamen Gate [Nanjing]

Zhonghuamen Gate was transformed into present name in 1931 with the former name 'the treasure gate'. It was connected separately with Guchanggan Bridge in Front and Zhenhuai Bridge in back. With 21.45 meters in height, 128 meters in length from east to west and 129 meters from north to south, the gate is a military strategic pass, composed of three dolioform cities, four gates, 27 hideouts and city wall history of the world because of its magnificence.
