People's Square [Shanghai]

The People’s Square is situated in the center of Shanghai. It is the largest public square in Shanghai. In the center of the square is a round fountain. It boasts the first large-scaled music fountain created in China. The music fountain is composed of three level which are red, yellow and blue in color respectively. Four flower beds surround the fountain and in the center is a map of Shanghai.
The People’s Square contains two smaller squares. The east square is called Rising Sun Square and the west one is called the Bright Moon Square. The Shanghai Municipal Building, Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Grand Theatre are also key People’s Square attractions.
