Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park [Shanghai]

The Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park, a planned layout of 300h ¡, is the largest suburb forest park of Shanghai among those plans in recent years. The park will be located in Gaoshatan, Gaoqiao Town in New Pudong District. The park will be highlighted with the theme Nature-Ecosystem-Wildness, Protecting-Creating-Developing . The park will give priority to arbores, trying to turn out a fine ecosystem and highlight the wildness and the original flavor of the nature. It will provide various related services to the visitors, while creating a suburb forest resort by making full use of the nurseries. At present, there are more than 200,000 arbores being planted or transplanted, thousands of square kilometers plants, including an azalea garden, a magnolia garden and an area of aquatic plants. What have already been completed is a wandering wooden path in the camphor woods, a wooden flexuous bridge in the aquatic plants area, long corridors, and pavilions etc. When completed, the park will provide the citizens of Shanghai with a free and open place for sightseeing, recreation and scientific education.
