Tianqiaogou National Level Forest Park [Dandong]

Also called “small Lu Mountain”, Tianqiaogou National Forest Park, located in the northwest of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, is 60 kilometers from the county. The main body is endless forest and odd hills, relying on rich biological resources and particular natural sights, is studded with cultural relics. The entrance of Tianqiaogou stands a mountain gate of Shan shaped character, looks more grand and spectacular; the name of the park inscribed by Zang Kejia make it more charming. We can see a huge rock lying in the mountain creek, just like a natural stone bridge, so its name formed.

Three scenic areas have been developed in Tianqiaogou National Forest Park. Stone-paved paths, iron stairs and barriers were built at the dangerous locations, making the touring amazing but not dangerous.

Features：
It is Maple Leaf Festival from twenty-eighth of September to twenty-eighth of October, is the best period of enjoying maple leaves. Covering forest area of four thousand hectares, numerous maple leaves under forest canopy and forest border are characteristic of Tianqiaogou Scenic Area.
