Guangji Temple [Beijing]

Guangji Temple is one of well-known ancient Buddhism temples.China Buddhism Association is located here. In 1983, Guangji Temple was appointed by the State Council as a National Key Buddhism Temple in the area of Han nationality.

Buddhism sutra collected in Guangji Temple is rather numerous. Only for the Dazang Jing collected, there exist 12 versions which are important historical materials in researching emergence, development and evolution of Chinese Buddhism, and become an important part of the Chinese traditional culture.
