Deshengmen Arrow Tower is one of the three well-preserved arrow towers in the inner city of Beijing, built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It covers a ground of 4,000 sq m. An important defensive gateway of northern china, the Arrow Tower is known as a "Military Gate" which means a "gate towards victory."

Although the Arrow Tower does not function as it did in the past, it provides useful information on the architectural style of that period.
