Pigeon's Nest Park [Qinhuangdao]

Pigeon's Nest Park is also named Eagle's Horn Park, because of a huge rock like a tierce stood erected. The rock is 20 meters high and since groups of pigeons inhabit on the cracks of the rock, hence the name Pigeon's Nest Park.
The Pigeon's Nest Park is an ideal place to view sunrise. Especially on the mornings of summer, lots of people gather here to wait for the uprising of the red sun. There is a 50 meters-long archaized corridor, Ocean Viewing Corridor. Over 100 traditional frescos are painted on the corridor. A pavilion that lies at the south of the corridor is particularly for celebrities and tourists to write poems and draw pictures.
There is a manmade lake in the park. Tourists may take a rest at the bridges and pavilions. Pigeons enjoy their freedom in the square and tourists may take photos with these cute pigeons. It is a sure thing that tourists will have a happy time at the Pigeon's Nest Park.
