环境不错，周围的布局很不错，一进去就让人感到舒服，有一种归属感，就是服务上还需改进，但只是小问题。

住这里是为了去王府井书店，还是很近很方便的，房间一般，不过目的达到了，其他的就不在乎了，价格也还合理。在王府井逛街或者办事住这里还可以的。

Stayed in the North Garden Hotel for 3 nights (Thursday through Sunday) - booked on Expedia for about A$110 a night. The hotel is located close to Wangfujing Street (main shopping area and also the famous snack street), and about a 15 minute walk from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Its a Chinese owned hotel, but don't let this put you off. I found there service there to be top notch - I had a problem with the safe, and also called to have laundry picked up - in both cases I had a knock at my door within minutes. Very impressive! I even received a free upgrade to the business / executive rooms on Level 10, although I had friends staying in the regular rooms one floor down and the difference wasn't substantial. The beds were rock hard, but I think this is pretty normal in Chinese owned hotels. The room faced the interior atrium of the hotel, where the restaurant area was on Level 5. Even so the room was very quiet, as the windows were double glazed. Breakfast was okay - nothing too flash - featured western (cereal, toast, pastries, fruit, bacon, eggs, waffles etc) and Asian fare. Breakfast wasn't included in our room rate, and the hotel has an interesting policy of having you pay a deposit which they deduct charges from (breakfast, laundry, mini bar etc) as you rack them up. If you are at breakfast and you don't have enough "credit" though, they will ask you to pay on the spot, so have some cash handy just in case! If you're okay with this then it won't detract from your stay. You can have the deposit refunded and your expenses charged to a credit card if you wish (my friends succeeded in doing this). Overall a pretty good place which I would definitely stay at again.

地段好,去协和医院看病非常方便,但和四星级的酒店比,房间有点小,设施也一般,更重要的是服务不怎么样,服务人员见了客人没反应,尤其是前台接待,见人不爱搭理的样子,脸色很难看,如果奥运会时的服务也这样岂不有失有损国家形象.

Took my family (kids ages 13 and 9) to Beijing and Xi'an from April 18 to 28th. We stayed here from 18-22 and 27-28. The hotel had a great non-smoking floor, we stayed in four rooms (2 in each in two different visits). Location is superb and close to the walking street and food vendors. THe people at the door, the hotel staff at reception and when called upon, housekeeping, and the breakfast were phenomenally helpful. We had a single problem, every time in every room, with the air-conditioning. After a few tries (no more than two), an enginneer came up, accessed the unit from the bathroom, and twoenty minutes later the room was nice and cool (22C); however this has to be done every 2-3 days for reasons that I do not understand. Regardless, they did it and it was great.My only additional advice to any going here--remember you are in China, not the USA, and yes the standards are a bit lower for the hotel chains. Nevertheless, I travel frequently in Australia, US and Europe and this hotel is better than most of the "inn-type" (i.e. Hilton Garden Inn, Red Roof, Marriott type).

The hotel is conveniently located just around the corner from some food market stalls and major shops. Beware as some of the locals will try and charge you more as I discovered even in a shop for a mobile phone sim card.Tienanmen Square is located up the road about 10-15min walk or 5min by cab. Cabs are very cheap in China however they do not speak very much english, advisable to take a hotel card with you before you leave.Reception I found to be on the rude side while the other bell hops and other various staff I found to be more polite.The only problem I can see is the communication, however there is a person that speaks english there.Breakfast has much variety. Rooms we stayed in, the carpet appeared to be dirty but it just has a few stains, bathroom is modern, a smokey smell comes from the room, don't expect too much of a view.Overall for a four star, I would give this 3 1/2.

Great location, nice lobby, smelly rooms, misleading pictures, poor english, slow check in/out….I requested a non-smoking room but the room reeked from the smell of cigarettes. The hotel seemed renovated but still looked dirty and old. Communication was definitely an issue since NO ONE spoke good English except the bellboy. The recipients frown in your face and they are only trained to say what they want to say but can’t answer a simple questions. As for the SPA in the hotel, the pictures are deceiving and I was offered a sex massage when I went to use the work out room!!

前台服务非常差！我是1月13日中午入住的，下午出去办事，正好朋友要到我房间去拿东西，我就把房卡给了朋友。临走前我交代朋友把房卡交给前台等我回来拿继续入住就好，结果等晚上办事回来拿钥匙，前台小姐告诉我房间已经退掉了，如果想继续入住还要重新交房钱，真是不可思议！！！我与前台小姐沟通如果是退房的话也要通过我的同意，因为是我办理入住手续的，退房应该得到我的允许！前台小姐一直坚持是我朋友退掉的！就这样从晚上9点40分一直到10点30分还没给我办入住手续。中间还给大堂经理打电话，然后告诉我的结果是大堂经理的回复是不能允许我入住！没有天理！在我一再坚持下，前台小姐不知又给那位领导打了电话这才允许我入住！看来今天晚上也没有心情睡觉了！我不理解，不管我的朋友是否说要把房退掉，现在退房是不是随便一个人把房卡交到前台就可以退房呢？如果我客人的房卡丢失，有人恶作剧把房间退掉，里面还有很多行李，这样宾馆就可以办理退房手续吗？
