Shanghai Park Hotel

The 14-storey Jin Jiang Park Hotel is a historic landmark in Shanghai, and was once known as the tallest building in the city. Built in 1934, the hotel was designed by the Hungarian architect, Laszlo Hudec. The hotel lobby features a brass rotating entrance door, marble tiles, and wooden wall panels with brass inlays. On the ground floor are an ATM, a bank, and gift shops, as well as a tailor who can produce suits in just two days. The second floor overlooks the lobby-area gift shops, the business centre, and a bar serving business lunches. Recreational and entertainment opportunities are provided by the fitness centre, billiard and football tables, and sauna centre.
The 250 guestrooms have Western decor. Some of the Standard Rooms have views of the famous Nanjing East Shopping Road; the Superior Suites have views across People's Park, Grand Theatre and the Shanghai Urban Planning Centre. All have high-speed Internet access and cable/satellite TVs with premium channels, including ESPN, HBO, and CNN. All guestrooms have bedside remote-lighting-control panels.
