Ways to get to the airport
Through the magnetic suspension train (磁悬浮列车) (also known as Meglev Train). It takes 8 minute from Pudong to Longyang (30 km) at a blazing speed of 430 km/hour.
Hours: 7:00am-9:00pm with 15 minutes of intervals.
Address: Longyang station (龙阳路车站) at No 2100 Longyang Road.
Maglev airport stop: At the east side of the Departure waiting area of the Shanghai Pudong Airport (connected directly with 300-metered corridor).
Regular ticket price: 50 Yuan (one-way), 80 Yuan (round trip). Passengers with current day flight ticket can buy a one way ticket of Maglev Train at 20% discount.
VIP ticket price: 100 Yuan (one-way), 160 Yuan (round trip) with free soft drink.
Metro Line #2 to the Longyang station and then switch to Metro Line #3 (Airport line) to the airport in about 40 minutes.
Take Inner-Ring Road, Luo Hill Road (罗山路), the Beltway Road (A20 Road) (中环线), and the A1 Road.
Get onto the Long Yang Road (龙阳路) first and then take a taxi to the airport. Costs is about 80 Yuan.
